I have been a member of Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas since becoming an Ag Science Teacher 13 years ago. Each Summer, I attend the VATAT Professional Development Conference. This is a week long conference that allows Ag Science teachers from across the state attend workshops, receive updates and work on committee assignments that will help shape Texas Agricultural Science Education for the upcoming year.
I started teaching at Chapel Hill High School in the fall of 2011. Since then, I have been teaching Advanced Animal Science, Advance Plant Science, Anatomy and Physiology and Floral Design.
I began my teaching career in 2004 at Elsik High School in Alief ISD, Houston, TX. I then was Agricultural Science Instructor at Paris Junior College from 2007 until 2011.
