Chapel Hill Cross Country teams punches their ticket to Regionals!

The Varsity Boys are the 2019 District Champions.
Russell Hedges lead the way getting 2nd place with a time of 17:20. Coming in behind him was CJ Kump 3rd 17:51, Lucas Thomas 5th 18:16, Cameron Thomas 6th 18:31, Marcos Netro 9th 18:41, Tristan Davis 20th 20:49, and Braxton Sanders 23rd 21:12.

The Varsity Girls placed 2nd with Cecilia Perez leading the way getting 7th with a time of 14:05. Coming in behind her was Haylie Torres 8th 14:17, Ramsie Applegate 13th 14:44. Abby Soto 18th 15:10, and Zaileni Otero 22nd 15:23.

Coach Bynum said, "I am so proud of this group of kids. We have had an amazing season and have had a lot of fun. This is a great group of kids going out and representing what Chapel Hill is. They have worked extremely hard and continue to reach their goals."

The Regional Meet will be on October 28th at Jesse Owens Memorial Complex in Dallas.
